Favorite Venice Pictures

Hey! I am finally getting around to posting some of my pictures from my recent trip to Italy.
I will start with the Venice pictures. We flew into Rome and then took the train to Venice. When we got there my Mom had written down all these directions on how to get to our hotel, but after about 10 minutes of wandering around, we finally gave into the fact that we were probably not going to be able to find our hotel on our own. Venice is full of streets with dead ends, bridges and winding streets, so we took a boat taxi to our hotel, which turned out to be really amazing since we got to see the city from the water.

This is a statue at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. Peggy Gueggenheim lived here and donated her home so that it could be turned into a musuem when she died. She was the person who discovered Jackson Pollock.

These are pictures Mom and I took in the back of the museum, which overlooked the water.

Cool art at the museum.

The Yoko Ono wish tree that she gave Peggy Guggenheim. We made wishes.

Her and her dogs were buried in the court yard.

Our first meal: pizza, wine and salad. Followed by gelato of course!

Gondolas

San Marco Piazza
We stayed right near here!
